Fairway CEO Earns Highest Honor in Outdoor Advertising
Duncan, S.C. - The Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA) recently honored seven leaders in the out-of-home advertising
industry. Fairway Outdoor Advertising CEO Mark Moyer took home the highest honor, the Myles Standish Award, which honors an individual who has made
extraordinary contributions to the out-of-home advertising industry over many years. Moyer was recently presented the award at the 2011 OAAA/TAB
National Convention & Trade Show in Miami.
Moyer has more than 30 years experience in the outdoor advertising industry. He began his career at Naegele Outdoor Advertising, which was at the time
the largest privately owned outdoor firm in the nation. He went on to serve as president of Burkhart Advertising, where he nearly doubled the

OAAA chair and currently serves on the governing boards of both OAAA and the Traffic Audit Bureau of Media Measurement (TAB).
''Mark's contributions to the out of home industry have been and continue to be nothing short of exceptional,'' said Nancy Fletcher, OAAA president &
CEO. ''His strong business ethics and dedication to excellence have helped to invigorate and inspire colleagues within the outdoor community.''
Moyer accepted the award from the 2007 Myles Standish Award recipient, OAAA Chair Wally Kelly, who said, ''This man is an honest, stand-up,
say-what-you-mean and mean-what-you-say person, and he's now running one of the largest outdoor companies in America.''
Fairway Outdoor Advertising is one of the largest outdoor companies in the country; operating nine divisional offices and five regional offices in
primarily thirteen states in the Southeast and Midwest regions of the United States.
