The Pirate Billboards attract a great deal of attention throughout the state of North Carolina and create an excitement and awareness of our athletic programs that can not be accomplished through any other medium.

I have been personally amazed at the response and pride engendered by these billboards among the Pirate faithful as well as among people who did not know much about our athletic program or our academic programs until their interest was stirred by the billboards.

Mark me down as a BIG fan of billboards for promoting intercollegiate athletic and academic programs.
